About the role
Nomad sells to companies of 25 to 500 people in Ireland and the UK. Most conversations start because someone has a specific problem and has heard we are honest about whether AI solves it.
This role owns those conversations end to end: finding them, running them, and getting to a decision, including the decision not to proceed. We would rather lose a deal early than sell an engagement that will not land.
Responsibilities
- Build and work a pipeline of businesses that fit: operations-heavy, document-heavy, and big enough that a week of someone's time is worth recovering.
- Run first conversations and discovery calls, and hold your own on what AI does and does not do today.
- Write proposals with the delivery team and take them through to signature.
- Keep the CRM honest. A pipeline that overstates itself is worse than a short one.
- Work the room at events, briefings and the networks Nomad is part of.
You may be a good fit if you
- Have sold a considered purchase to businesses, where the cycle runs to weeks and there is more than one person to convince.
- Are useful in a first call rather than pitching through it.
- Have enough technical literacy to describe what we build without overclaiming, and the discipline to say you will check rather than guess.
- Write in a way that survives being forwarded to a finance director.
- Set your own week. Nobody here will build it for you.
Strong candidates may also have
- An existing network in Irish or UK business.
- Experience selling professional services as well as software.
Logistics
- Location
- 7 Fitzwilliam Street Lower, Dublin 2.
- Hours
- Full time.
- Salary
- €40,000 to €60,000 a year, gross. Plus commission. The structure is set out in full at offer stage.
